After Tony Womack’s one-out single in the bottom of the seventh, Yankees manager Joe Torre brought in left-hander Mike Stanton, ending Clemens’ night at 114 pitches. After Womack was caught stealing, Stanton got Counsell out on an infield popout. The Yankees grabbed a 2-1 lead in the eighth when rookie Alfonso Soriano hit a leadoff home run.

Locally, the Series was broadcast by KTAR-AM in Phoenix with Thom Brennaman, Greg Schulte, Rod Allen and Jim Traber, and by WABC-AM in New York City with John Sterling and Michael Kay. This was WABC’s last broadcast of Yankees baseball after twenty-one seasons as the team’s flagship, and also the last time Sterling and Kay broadcast together after ten seasons. Sterling and the Yankees joined WCBS-AM the next season on the radio side, while Kay was promoted to television as the YES Network launched for 2002.

The Series commenced on October 27, which was the latest a World Series had started, beating the previous record by four days (1999 World Series, October 23). The Yankees struck first in Game 1 when Derek Jeter was hit by a pitch with one out in the first and scored on Bernie Williams’s double two batters later. However, Arizona’s Curt Schilling and two relievers, Mike Morgan and Greg Swindell held the Yankees scoreless afterward. They managed to get only two walks and two hits for the rest of the game, Scott Brosius’s double in the second and Jorge Posada’s single in the fourth, both with two outs.

For the second consecutive year, Fox carried the World Series with its top broadcast team, Joe Buck and Tim McCarver (himself a Yankees broadcaster). This was the first year of Fox’s exclusive rights to the World Series (in the previous contract, Fox only broadcast the World Series in even numbered years while NBC broadcast it in odd numbered years), which it has held since. This particular contract also had given Fox exclusive rights to the entire baseball postseason, which aired over its family of networks, but shortly after the World Series, Fox sold its cable outlet Fox Family Channel, on which it aired Division Series games, shortly after the World Series ended, to Disney, which renamed the channel to ABC Family; since this made the channel a corporate sibling of ESPN, Disney would move those games to ESPN in 2003 after airing them for one more season on ABC Family.

The Diamondbacks’ win in Game 1 was the first World Series game won by a non-New York City team since 1997. In every World Series between 1997 and 2001, either both teams were from New York City or a New York City team won in a sweep (1998 and 1999).

Original music in the game is composed by Rob Westwood, and is based off of the movie scores by John Williams and Michael Giacchino, much like The LEGO Movie Videogame’s music which was based off of Mark Mothersbaugh’s The LEGO Movie score. Some music however, was taken from the films.

The level starts with ken Wheatley entering the abandoned auction room staring down the caged indoraptor. Wheately throws a chair at the indoraptor and the creature pretends to faint. Wheately then gets into the cage door and prepares to take a photo of himself standing over the indoraptor. Before the indoraptor wakes up and tears off Wheatley’s arm and slaps him with it. He then steps out of the cage and locks Wheatley in the cage before using Wheatley’s severed arm to wave at him. The indoraptor then walks into the elevator with some auctioneer staff. The indoraptor uses Wheatley’s arm to press all the buttons in the elevator before laughing manically.

we cut to a cutscene where Owen and maisie climb up the glass roof of lockwood’s museum. The indoraptor also climbs up and nearly slips off. He politely places a sign saying ” caution: slippery floor ” down. He prepares to attack when Claire aim’s the indoraptor gun at Owen. The indoraptor charges and nearly falls into the adjuceratops horns. He climbs up again preparing to attack before blue roars at the indoraptor. The two fight and you engage in a final quick time event. Ending with blue slamming the indoraptor through the glass knocking him into the frill knocking him out.

LEGO have always put their own comedic spin on the movie-based games they have produced, and Jurassic World is no different. The game is filled with Easter eggs for those that are lucky enough to notice. Some subtle whilst others are smack bang in your face. Some I encountered were Back to the Future and E.T. where you see Elliott and E.T. flying across in front of the moon on a BMX bike.

The first edition of the College World Series was held in 1947 at Hyames Field in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The tournament was held there again in 1948, but was moved to Lawrence Stadium in Wichita, Kansas for the 1949 tournament. Since 1950, the College World Series (CWS) has been held in Omaha, Nebraska. It was held at Rosenblatt Stadium from 1950 through 2010; starting in 2011, it has been held at Charles Schwab Field Omaha (formerly TD Ameritrade Park Omaha). The name “College World Series” is derived from that of the Major League Baseball World Series championship; it is currently an MLB trademark licensed to the NCAA.

Texas A&M last night put all its chips on the table in its game one victory over Tennessee. Though the Aggies are weathering two huge injuries to Braden Montgomery and Shane Sdao — and other members of the lineup are playing through injuries — they continue to find ways to win.

This marks the first-ever national baseball title for the Volunteers, who previously hadn’t been to the finals since 1951. Tennessee was the No. 1 overall seed heading into the tournament. This was the first time a top overall seed won it all since 1999, when Miami (Fla.) pulled it off.

Following a polished game to start the day, the night cap between Florida State and Tennessee was anything but. It was a tale of two games for the Volunteers, who—thanks to a plethora of free bases and a couple of big swings from Jaime Ferrer—trailed 9-4 heading into the fifth inning with FSU ace Jamie Arnold still on the mound.
